An elegant, fully mounted orishigane katana by Rick Barrett. Fuchi and kashira are by Patrick Hastings with a lovely modern handmade tsuba from Japan. Handle is black silk over a full same wrap with beautiful carp menuki. Saya is black ishime(textured) with horn. Copper habaki is also by Rick Barrett. Hamon looks to be gunome/choji and hada is a mix of masame in the ji and mokume near the shinogi.

The blade has received a temporary cutting polish until it’s turn for a full art polish, which is included in the price of this fine sword.
