This sword was purchased through Bugei when they were taking orders for Howard’s blades and was polished and mounted by Ted Tenold.
It has excellent balance and is very fast, would be great for iaido and also for general tameshigiri. The fittings on this sword are done in a tiger/bamboo theme in antique silver. Tsuka is 14” and wrapped in black doe skin over black same, and Tsuba is hand carved bamboo sukashi by Shuji Yamamoto. Habaki is solid silver with driven rain pattern. Hamon is suguha. This sword has never been used, and it is in pristine condition.
